Meet Dotty – the Queen of Hide and Seek! 👑🐾

Dotty is a shy little lady who’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She’s in foster care with a loving family, where she's slowly building her confidence and starting to show off her playful side.

Dotty adores food and won't say no to a tasty treat! While she’s not a fan of being picked up, she absolutely enjoys pats – but only on her terms, of course. Earning her trust is part of the journey, and once you do, you’ll feel like you’ve won her heart.

She’s an expert at hide and seek (you’ll never beat her at that game), toilet trained, and has a soft spot for fluffy beds where she can curl up and watch the world go by. Dotty tolerates other cats and even seems to have a little crush on one of her foster brothers, but she’s more of an independent girl when it comes to feline friendships. Dogs, however, are not her cup of tea.

Dotty is best suited to a calm, quiet home with patient humans who understand that shy cats need time, space and kindness to blossom. If you’ve got a gentle heart and a peaceful place, Dotty might just be the cat you’ve been looking for.

She can be met in her foster home once we receive your adoption application — and don't worry, we’ll arrange a meet and greet to make the process easy.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialise and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat.

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. 

I CAN FLY TO PERTH! 

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
