Meet Winston - Your Not-So-Typical Maremma! 🐾

Winston is a 4-year-old Maremma Sheepdog with a gentle soul and a heart full of love to give. Unlike the typical fiercely independent Maremma, Winston is a bit softer around the edges - making him a great fit for a family environment where he can truly blossom.

He's still finding his confidence, so he'll need an understanding owner who's familiar with the breed and can support his development with patience, consistency, and the right kind of enrichment. Someone who understands how to biologically fulfil a guardian breed like Winston - through purpose, structure, and calm leadership - will bring out the best in him.
Whilst being at Animal Aid he's shown us his skills on the agility course, showing how much of a clever cookie he is.

Winston could live with another calm, balanced dog pending a successful meet and greet. A canine companion might even help boost his confidence!
