Hi there, I’m Mandarin 🍊
I’m a quiet little girl who prefers calm and gentle surroundings. I currently live with both other cats and dogs and enjoy the company, although slow introductions are best and I will need some time to warm up. I’m also perfectly content being on my own; I really do enjoy peaceful, quiet time to myself.
Loud noises and sudden movements can still make me nervous, and I tend to hide when strangers walk by the window or if things get a bit too loud. Once I know and trust you enough to feel safe, I am a sociable and sweet girl who will purr my heart out while getting some chin scratches. I’m still shy, but I’m trying my best every day and gaining more and more confidence.
If there’s one thing I absolutely love, it’s wand toys with ribbons and batting around plastic springs and bouncy balls. Oh, I could play with those for hours! It’s the best way to connect with me – through gentle play and quiet bonding. I am also a HUGE fan of temptation treats or greenies. I know the sound of the bag and will come running to eat them out of your hand like a little baby goat 🐐
I’ve also been a total champ with my litter box – no accidents at all!
I’ll be honest, I’m not the kind of cat who will be all over you from day one. But if you have a big heart, a quiet home, and the patience to help a shy little girl blossom, then I just might become your most loyal and loving companion. I’m not perfect – but I’m trying.
And I’d love to keep trying with you.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
