This fluffy little gentleman is Tex and he's on the lookout for his new forever home.

Tex was well loved by his previous owners but sadly when the new baby came along they found that they were no longer able to give Tex the love and time that he deserved so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find him a new home. He comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.

Tex is a very sweet and gentle soul who has a very loving nature and does not have a mean bone in his body. He is very affectionate and absolutely adores human company.

While Tex may have a gentle nature he isn't shy and will be very quick to come over and say hello to new people. He loves a pat and a scratch, enjoys being picked up and cuddled and is happy to sit next to you while you watch you're favourite TV show.

He's also very vocal and will happily have a conversation with you.

Tex is also a very tolerant little gentleman as he has grown up around other cats, young kids, chickens and even dogs, so not a whole lot fazes this little sweetheart.

In fact; not long after arriving in his new foster home the resident cat decided he was going to stroll into Tex's room and start eating his food. Tex just sat there and let him, without making a peep.

While Tex is a super smooch that loves being around people, he is also happy to chill out and do his own thing, often finding a nice sunny spot to snooze the day away.

He is used to being an indoor / outdoor cat and enjoys going outside with you and keeping you company while you're pottering around the garden. He is also a very good hunter and will bring you little presents to show his love.

Tex is a very sweet, affectionate and low maintenance little gentleman that would be well suited to almost any household. If you're looking for a bottomless pit of fluffy love then Tex may just be the cat for you.

Tex is approximately 3 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
