About Buc
Hi friends my name is Buc đ
I am an 8 month old red Australian stumpy tailed cattle dog. Thatâs right, no tail just 100% wiggle bum!
I am a gentle and loveable dog, who very much wants to please. I am still a puppy and have the energy of one. But I also need naps, as my puppy brain will keep me busy if Iâm not shown how to rest. This is important because an âoff switchâ will make everyoneâs life a breeze!
What I love most is company, I can be a shadow to follow you around. But I am happy to hang out by myself. I travel well in the car and would love to go on trips out, and have begun being a cafe dog! As a working breed I require adequate physical and mental exercise, so I need someone who understands this and preferably has experience in doing so.
So far I am nailing the basics, I am crate trained, know how to walk nicely on a halter, sit, drop, stay on my bed, wait at doors and play well with other dogs. I have begun recall on a long line. I am affectionate, love pats and cuddles, love toys, treats and someone telling me how much of a good boy I am. I am a fan of water and enjoy being out and about so would love someone to do this with me.
In foster care I am with another smaller sized dog who has similar energy to me and I absolutely love him, so I would benefit from having another energetic dog around or dog play dates / daycare. However I can be an only dog if given the time and attention that my breed needs.
I have met children, I like them. I would be more suited to older kids who understand I am a puppy. I have been in care with cats and show some interest in them, so I just need a couple firm reminders from humans to let the cats be if they are in the home.
As a young dog I still need time and training put in by my future humans to ensure I grow to be a good canine citizen.

No known pre-existing conditions.
