About Mara
Mara is a whole vibe. She's an affectionate, food-motivated, toy-loving goofball who lives for a good game of fetch, squeaky toys, and dunking her whole head in the pool just for the fun of it.
Mara is looking for a calm, experienced adult home with a securely fenced yard, where she can feel supported and free to play at her own pace as she continues to grow in confidence. She would thrive with daily enrichment like puzzle feeders, gentle walks, sniffy adventures, or even a canine sport like nose work to keep her mind and body engaged. Mara is tactile, social, and always wants to be where the action is... even if that means acrobatically navigating the furniture to get to you.
On the flip side, Mara can be a little unsure around other dogs. She's had calm, polite greetings and does well with gentle, respectful pups. But fast movements or overly enthusiastic greetings can make her nervous. She's still figuring it all out and would thrive in a home where she's not expected to be a social butterfly with every dog she meets.
If you're ready for endless affection, wet couch cushions, and a hilarious best friend who always brings the party-Mara is ready and waiting to meet you.
