Hi, I’m Lainey! I came from a country town to stay with the Angels while I look for my fur-ever home. Could that be with you?

Nature
I am a gentle tortoiseshell kitty who is playful and curious. I zoom through the house with my sister, Clove. I follow my foster hooman around and sit right next to her. I also climb up on her when it’s bedtime and ask for pats, I like to sleep on her side where it’s cosy. I sometimes put a paw on her, so I know she is still there. When foster hooman wakes I'm straight up there wanting more and reminding her it's been hours since I ate. I don't really meow. I only making noise at food time because I learned to do that from everyone else.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would do well with young and older children as I'm quite a confident kitty once I learn my place. I’d love a family that can spend time playing with me and also give me cuddles and pats on the regular cos I love it soooooo much.

I live with my sister Clove and other fosters, I get along well with them and the resident kitties. If you could open your heart to me and my sister we would do well together if you wanted two kitties to love. I could also be a solo cat.

I also live and get along with the Kelpie doggo who always wants to know where my food is at. I pay her biscuits to leave me alone.

Likes / Dislikes
I love my wet and dry food. I was very food orientated when I came into care and I love creamy treats, but so does everyone else, so I sit back. Do you have some at your place?

My fur-ever home must have lots of toys, I'm known to zoom around up the tall tower that goes to the ceiling. I climb right up there, getting much needed exercise from all the food I get to eat now I'm a city gal and house kitty. I love to chase balls. I'm quite playful still, being a teenager now. Shiny stuff catches my eye and I love cardboard to scratch on. Some feathers hang from the wall and I love to chase and play with them too.

I use the litter tray well.

I'm not a big fan of the vacuum, however I will watch and I don't always run away. I can get spooked sometimes with other loud noises too.

My PURR-fect home would be a nice quiet and relaxed household where I can have time and space to settle in. I would be amazing as your only pet, with a cat-social dog or a new cat friend, with slow introductions. I would also like lots of toys to play with and a cat tower for snoozing.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Lainey has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout her life. Lainey will need her teeth checked at her annual vaccination. She may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. She may need teeth extracted in the future.

Lainey had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. She was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
