About Yves Klein Blue
*In foster care in Bondi Junction, Sydney*
Say hello to Yves – the ultimate sunbaker, feather-chaser, and all-round sweetheart! If you're looking for a companion who’s affectionate, playful, and happiest in a peaceful home, he might just be your perfect match.
This striking kitten has a calm, loving nature, and he can't wait to be your loyal sidekick! He enjoys the simple pleasures in life: lounging in his favourite chair, stretching out in a sunny spot, and soaking up strokes and affection from his foster human. He’s wonderfully friendly and loves being nearby while you go about your day – especially if there’s a comfy chair involved :)
Occasionally he'll test out his undercover detective skills, inching quietly towards his foster mum's laptop before leaping 'A-ha!' onto the keyboard, but he's usually caught in the act - freezing when he realises he’s been spotted, and quickly dashing off to plot his next attempt. It's a daily comedy show as he tries again and again, never quite mastering the art of laptop stealth!
Playtime is a highlight for Yves, especially when his feather wand comes out. He’s also food-motivated and never one to turn down a good meal – in fact, he's great at eating, and also at being your own purrsonal alarm clock as dinner time approaches...
Fully litter-trained and impeccably clean, Yves is a dream to care for. Whether he’s keeping you company or observing the world from a window, he brings a sweet, joyful presence to every room.
Yves would prefer a quiet home with no tiny humans trying to pick him up. He thrives in calm environments, and appreciates having time to settle in and get to know his surroundings at his own pace.
Could Yves be the missing piece of your heart and home?
Like all Maggie's pets, Yves Klein Blue is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be calm and quiet - a place with a steady rhythm to the day, where I can truly relax and be myself. I'll thrive in a household with adults-only or older children (10+) who understand and appreciate a gentle, laid-back companion. Young children can be a bit overwhelming for me, especially if they try to pick me up, so I'm best suited to a home without little ones.
I respond beautifully to kind, patient people and will need a few days to settle in. Once I feel safe, I become a total cuddle bug – happily approaching you for pats and even offering up my belly for a rub!
Peaceful spaces where I can lounge in cosy spots, watch the world go by, and be near my humans are my soul food. As for real food, I'm definitely food-motivated! I also enjoy playtime, and may even be content with a quiet evening stroll around the house.
If you’re someone who values a serene home and affectionate companionship, I'm sure to fit right in!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm very relaxed on the whole!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A household with children aged 10+ or adults only would suit me perfectly.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Though I'm untested with other pets, I may be a good match for a feline playmate who shares my gentle, calm nature.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
