I am Arliden and my name means teller of stories, and if you have a moment I will share my story with you.
From what I can remember my story starts when I was taken to the pound with my Mum and siblings. After a while I was told my family had a “save” put on us and we would be going on a long journey to our foster home.
My natural instinct was to be brave, and from the moment i arrived at my foster home, that is what I have been. It was certainly a big change going from the pound into a home, new foster siblings both feline and canine , vet appointments, car rides, but I have been courageous every step of the way.
While I wait for my forever to come for me, I spend my days keeping my paw on the pulse with what’s happening in my foster home. You will find me popping up where ever my people are. If you work from home I don’t mind hanging around on the desk to keep you company so you don’t get lonely. I can’t say I will always keep my eyes open while we watch Netflix, but hey I will be with you. Big comfy beds are my favourite, so yes indeed, if you are there expect me too. Need to smile after a hard day, the word entertaining was made for me. I know how to “ rise and shine” at the same time as you do, so no early morning disturbances here.
As I said my name means “ teller of stories “ so does my next chapter start with a life with you? Come and meet me so my new story can begin.
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
