Hello, my name is Tim Tam and if the biscuit Tim Tam is one of your favourite things you have yet to meet me.

I was saved from death row with my Mum and three siblings, along with four other freedom riders. From the very start of my journey to my new life I knew how to gell with others, to blend in without issues or displeasure. Us newbies had to spend our mandatory quarantine period together and I formed cohesive fun relationships with the others.

Once the quarantine period was over I got to meet the rest of my foster family. Now I don’t remember ever having much to do with dogs before, but here they were, two of them, in my foster home. I saw how the dogs reacted with the other cats in the house and I knew that in no time we would be friends. How right I was. We now share cuddles and nice soft beds.

Now let’s talk about how I feel about humans. Is it because I share a special affinity with humans or is it because my natural affectionate personality sees me seeking out my people for one on one time. If I am not in your lap, I am lying beside you making sure I have my paw on you just to show you that I am still with you. I have worked out if I sit on the back of the work chair I can still stay with you and not disturb you while you work. Very clever of me don’t you think ?

After meeting me the words Tim Tam will conjure up beaming smiles and warm tender feelings and it will have nothing to do with that particular biscuit.
