Axel is a gentle giant, a true family dog who is good with everyone and especially loves small children. He is good with dogs, and is fostered with a cat with no problem. He pays no attention to chickens, and even horses. He loves a morning and evening walk and enjoys the beach and playing ball.

Axel is good in the home, and while his carer goes out he has access to indoors, which he loves (he can be safety left indoors with no issues; he is not at all destructive and doesn't dig in the garden). He would be nest suited to a home with someone around the majority of the time as he does thrive when he has human company. He barks when someone approaches your property but will settle quickly when directed, and will occasionally bark to ask a dog to play with him out on walks.

It appears Axel hadn't had much training, however he now sits on command and is learning to come when called. He is getting better with his heel work on lead, however his training will need to be continued, to enable him to really shine and put his best paw forward. Axel is a willing boy who wants to please.

Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
