About Kingsley
Kingley has a sad story to tell, with a hopeful ending.
Kingsley was one of the very first rabbits in the rescue. He found a home, but was surrendered back into our care after two years. When we picked him up, we were reunited with a very different rabbit.
His gentle and curious personality was much more rigid and defensive. Unsure of what had happened to him, we have slowly been regaining his trust with treats, lots of space to hop around in, and some careful pats.
Despite the hardship he has gone through, Kingsley is still a very good boy with a funny, snarky attitude, who truly thinks he's the boss. Not afraid to let you know how he's feeling, Kingsley has a very unique personality that experienced rabbit carers will love to get to know. And with some continuous positive reinforcement, we believe that Kingsley can become a happy member of your family.
Kingsley is best in a home with experienced rabbit carers, and ideally no young children.
He is desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We have an adoption form to get a basic idea of the potential adopter's home, and we follow up with a phone call to clarify any necessary information. If the applicant is a first-time small animal adopter, we go over all the necessary information regarding food, housing, and medical care. We provide adopters with resources for the species of animal they are adopting, and are always in regular contact with them if they have any questions.
We offer meet & greets with our foster animals, and trials to ensure we are finding the right homes for the animals in our care.
