About Parrot
Parrot is a special needs kitten. He likely has a condition called Hydrocephalus- see below in medical.
Despite everything life has thrown at him he is the most affectionate and quirky little dude. He obtained his name for his love of sitting on his carers shoulder like a Parrot.
Parrot loves other cats and enjoys playing. Being special he may miss the cues when the other cat has had enough.
He is developmentally slow which also means he is super cute and super sweet. He will entertain the household
Medical notes
Parrot likely suffered a trauma as a young kitten and as a result has a trauma injury in one eye. He has binocular vision in that eye.
Parrot most likely has hydrocephalus which means he is slow developmentally and neurologically. He has stunted growth and is slow to learn habits - (for example he still sometimes misses the litter box).
Parrot is fiv negative and not currently on medication. The prognosis for hydrocephalus in cats can vary depending on the severity.

Adoption details
Our adoption costs cover microchipping, desexing, up to date vaccinations to time of adoption.
All cats over 6 months will have had a FIV test.
All cats are desexed before adoption.
We offer a minimum two week trial on all cats. We will refund the adoption fee and take the cat back within this time frame if the adoption does not work out. We provide assistance throughout this period and have an Adopters Club on Facebook.
We do not adopt out single kittens to busy households with no one home all day.
If you are a busy household and after just one cat please consider a juvenile or adult.
Kittens are very social and require company - if the family is out at work and school all day long - it’s just not fair on the kitten.
We adopt to indoor only homes. We put so much work into saving our fosters lives we cannot risk them being hit by cars in an outdoor environment.
We ask interested adopters to please fill in a short application and attend a meet and greet before committing. We want to ensure the cat is the right fit for you.
We do not transport kittens interstate. Sydney only please.
