About Buddy
👋 Meet Buddy, the little dude who's ready to bounce into your life 👋
This handsome Jack Russell is approximately five and a half years young and joined our Village Tails crew on Easter Monday as part of our HUGE Easter mission.
We plucked him from a rural pound, thinking he just needed a little TLC... turns out he needed a bit more than a doggy chocolate egg 😬
Let's just say Buddy's "boy bits" were NOT having a good time. He had a nasty infection that escalated into a full-blown staph infection that had him feeling pretty miserable .
But fear not, our amazing vets have worked their magic, and Buddy is now feeling like a MILLION bucks!
He's also been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is up-to-date with all his flea and worming treatments. He's basically a walking, tail-wagging, health guarantee! 😉
For the next few days, he needs to rock his fashionable cone ,then he'll be ready to find his forever family and experience true freedom! ✨
Currently, Buddy is living the good life in foster care with the amazing Stacey in beautiful Cedar Creek, north of Brisbane.
Here's the lowdown on this little legend:
Happy, friendly, and oh-so-gentle. This boy has charm for days.
LOVES walks, adventures, and car rides.
He might have little legs, but he packs a HUGE punch of energy.
HATES crates with the fiery passion of a thousand suns.
Loves people, especially when he's snuggled up on the couch or hogging the bed. Personal space? Never heard of it.
Hates being left out. He's a social butterfly and needs to be part of the family. No outdoor dog life for this pampered prince!
Sleeps at foster mums feet while she works and on the bed at night.
Doesn't bark much.
Loves food, licking faces, and demanding belly rubs.
Prepare for a LOT of love!
Cats? He's curious, but backs off when they give him the stink eye. (He's a lover, not a fighter)
Think Buddy sounds like the perfect addition to your family?
Send us a DETAILED message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life you'd share with this deserving little guy.
We're looking for a home where he can be loved, cherished, and allowed to steal a spot on the couch. 😉
His adoption fee is $625
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
