Moose is a bright and energetic 10-month-old German Shepherd x Husky girl with a big personality and lots of potential. She's highly toy and food motivated, enjoys engaging with people, and has already picked up basic training like sit, hand targeting, and lured drop. Moose can be strong on lead and may jump up or grab the leash when excited, but she settles well after some active play and shows great progress when given structure. She accepts handling, often rolling over for belly rubs, and can be redirected from mouthing or height-seeking with ease. Moose has shown good social skills with other dogs during off-leash play and would thrive in an active, experienced home that can offer continued training and enrichment. She can potentially go home to a family with a suitably matched canine companion. While she does show moderate shelter stress, Moose is a smart, affectionate young dog ready to flourish in the right environment.
