About Frank

Frank is currently carrying some extra weight; it is clear that he hasn’t been exercised in some time and currently resembles a bit of a barrel. Frank has started his weight loss journey thanks to the generous team at LifeWise providing us with tone and trim food to help Frank reach a healthy weight. Frank will need ongoing exercise and to keep to his diet so that he can shed the extra kgs.
Frank is a little head shy which is not a surprise, sudden movements can see him lower his head expecting to be smacked, however he is very forgiving towards humans, once he knows you are a friend who will not hurt him, he turns into the biggest cuddler who wants all of the bum scratches he can get. Frank is a gentle boy who gets along with everyone, he would suit most family dynamics.
Frank is an easy-going boy that just wants to hang out with his humans, he would love to be an inside dog and cuddle up at your feet, ready for belly rubs. Frank has been ok being left on his own for short stints, he is currently getting multiple shorter walks a day to build up his stamina, the rest of the time he is happy just to hang out.
Frank can be a little dominant towards other dogs, he is not reactive at all and is able to meet other dogs, however he is rude in his approach and will put his head over their shoulders. Frank will need to work on his manners and doggy social skills, he is not aggressive but will find himself in trouble if he keeps repeating this rude behaviour. Frank may be able to live with another dog, however slow integration and the ability to completely separate initially would be required. Frank would be great as the only dog in his new home, working on his social skills and approach overtime.
Frank has not been tested with cats or other small pets.
When out walking, Frank wants to stop and smell everything, he is making up for lost time and enjoys getting out and about. Frank will pull initially on lead, however, is very manageable and soon settles into nice pace with his human. Frank is the type of dog that would love to go to on adventures and strolls down to the café for a puppacino (low-fat milk of course).

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
Puppies (2 months to 4 months) - $1000
Puppies (4 to 6 months) - $800
Adolescents (6 months to 1 year) - $700
Mature (1 year to 6 years) - $600
Senior (7 years plus) - $350
