About Poppy
Meet Poppy, a sweet natured and smart black and tan Kelpie. This petite and fun loving pup enjoys energetic play, as well as plenty of cuddles!
Poppy is very smart and eager to please. She already knows how to sit, stay, drop, and roll (for those belly pats, of course) and is quickly picking up new commands. She is comfortable in her crate overnight, mostly toilet trained, and learning to walk well on a lead.
Poppy has enjoyed a few car rides, often settling in for a snooze once the initial excitement wears off. Given her young age she can be a bit nervous about new things, but she adapts quickly with positive reinforcement.
Poppy is looking for her forever home that can show her how fun life can be and is committed to providing the ongoing training and stimulation working breeds require. This could be an active family, possibly with another doggie pal or two, a home with plenty of space and enrichment or a home where she can be involved in all the action.
Poppy has shown she is playful yet gentle and around children but has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
