About Family Flock
Meet our Family Flock
These sheep are a family-to-family adoption, which means that the animals have been listed for adoption and will remain at their current home until they go off to their adoptive family.
Through no fault of their own, or their brave rescuer, this family flock desperately need to find a safe and loving forever home. Some may currently be in lamb, so this is urgent.
They must be adopted by 31/05/25 (a date not set by us) or they face a horrific fate with their current owner out of alternatives. We will endeavour not to let this happen, but we cannot do it without your help.
- D.O.B. from 2019 - 2021.
- Mix of Merino and Dorset Crossbreeds.
- 5 males, 5 females.
- Care guides provided, pre & post-adoption support.
- Adopters need 4+ acres of pasture to adopt this trio.
- Toolleen (Northern Victoria Region) VIC
- PIC 3CPYM147 & NLIS tagged.
- Adoption Donation: $100 each sheep.
- To be adopted as companions/pets only.
- Transportation is being provided as part of their adoption.
Their ideal home would be with someone experienced in caring for sheep or other farm animals, or who is willing to work with a vet to support the needs of any sheep who may be in lamb.
Please send us a message to receive their full adoption profile or visit the following link. https://tilthecowscomehome.org/animal-adoption/family-flock/
This harmonious group is calm, friendly, and easy to care for. They’re mostly self-sufficient and would make the perfect, laid-back companions and are well-accustomed to life alongside other animals.
If you have the experience, space, and heart for these affectionate and peaceful companions, please click the ‘Send message’ button or send an email to info@tilthecowscomehome.org to start your adoption journey today.
Medical notes
Lambert has a limp caused by a foot issue, though it doesn’t seem to impact him too much.
Some or all of the sheep are suspected to be pregnant. Their adopter must have sheep or farm animal caring experience or be someone who will seek vet advice to provide any mothers & their lambs with support.
Any vet costs to support the pregnancy and lambs would be a cost for the adopter.
