About Dusty - 20 Month Old Dachshund
Introducing the amazing handsome Dusty, 20 month old XXL Dashy. Dusty weighs in at 14kg and is approx 1 metre long from neck to bottom.
Dusty is a very loving and affectionate, well behaved boy. His ideal day would be to sit and be petted by his human all day.
Dusty is a playful boy and would love with another small playful dog to play with. He also enjoys playing with older kids.
Dusty needs someone who is home all day as he doesn't cope well for long periods alone. He can be a bit of a prima Donna demanding attention but he is guaranteed to be your best friend and your shadow.
Dusty walks well on a lead, no pulling and has impeccable manners.
Dusty could benefit with more ongoing training, although he has excellent recall and has all the makings of the perfect dog!
Dusty needs a family who can offer lots of love and attention, he is house trained and he sleeps through the night. Since being with his foster family he is almost always inside and sleeps where he chooses, which is always alongside one of his humans!
Dusty in brief:
* Needs a family with someone home most of the time
* Dog friendly
* Suitable for kids over 10
* Not tested on cats or pocket pets
Dusty is in foster care in Valentine, NSW and is not available for interstate adoption. Adoption fee is $800 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
