Meet Toby, a charming six-year-old Border Collie Cross with a heart full of love and an infectious zest for life. With his handsome looks and sweet nature, Toby is the kind of dog who leaves a sweet impression on everyone he meets, whether they are humans or animals.
Weighing in at a robust 36kgs, Toby carries himself with the dignity of a seasoned companion. He's currently staying in Griffin, and he's all set for a new chapter in life. Toby is in tip-top shape, being vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, ensuring he's as healthy and happy as possible.
Toby enjoys the company of children and is keen to show them just how fun and loyal he can be. He’ll need some guidance to learn not to be overly excited around his new little human friends, but his delight in their company is simply endearing. A friendly play session or game of catch is always on his agenda.
While Toby loves to lavish affection on his human companions, he prefers to be the only dog in the household. Though he isn't a fan of feline friends, he adores human company, especially with a family that enjoys being active and can provide him with the attention he craves.
Being a Border Collie Cross, Toby appreciates an environment where he can have room to stretch his legs. A fenced yard would be ideal, and there's no need to worry about him jumping over the fence—he's happy to stay within boundaries and enjoy the safety and adventure it provides.
Toby's adoption fee is $395, a small price for a lifetime of laughter, love, and loyalty that this wonderful dog promises to bring. Don't miss out on the chance to bring Toby's joyful spirit into your home!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
