About Emma
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This sweet little lady is Emma and she's on the lookout for her new forever home.
Emma is one of the sweetest and gentlest cats you will ever meet. She has a very kind and gentle nature, is not at all reactive and does not have a mean bone in her gorgeous little body.
Emma has come to us from a loving household and has a lot of love to give. She was originally adopted as a companion for the families young son, who was sure that he was ready for a cat but unfortunately this turned out not to be the case. The young son did not bond with Emma like they were hoping and decided he did not want her anymore. So the parents reached out to us to find her a new home.
While Emma is very loving she is also a bit a of a princess and affection is very much on her terms and at her pace. We think that the young son may have been too forceful with his affections, chasing her around, and this did not suit Emma's personality. She's the type of cat that needs her own time and space and will come to you for cuddles when she's ready.
Since arriving in her new foster home she has kept to herself but has always been in the mood for pats when her foster carers come by and say hello. At the moment she tends to sleep during the day and is mush more active at night time when the people are in bed.
But she is getting more and more confident and comes a little further out of her shell every day.
She also gets on well with other cats and can be heard running around playing with the resident cat in her foster home.
Emma is a very low maintenance and easy to look after little lady who would be well suited to a nice quiet household with not a lot going on. We'd love to find Emma a nice quiet home, without kids, where she can kick back and relax and come up to you for a pat and a cuddle when she's in the mood. A young single or couple living in a cozy apartment would be a perfect fit.
Emma is approximately 18 months old and has been desexed vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.

Medical notes
Emma broke her leg at a very early age but her people took very good care of her and the injury was rehabbed correctly. She had surgery to correct the break and a metal plate was inserted. But Emma shows no signs of ever being injured and runs and jumps like any other cat :)
We have the x-rays and medical records from the previous owner and would be more than happy to pass these along with Princess Emma.
