About Andy
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Meet Andy, the sweet and affectionate male domestic short hair who’s ready to steal your heart. Andy is one of the sweetest, gentlest and kind natured cats your will ever meet. With his soft meow and gentle nature he will win you over in no time.
Andy's people moved to Australia about 12 months ago with the intention of making a life here, so naturally they adopted a cat. Unfortunately things have not worked out as they planned so they are heading back to their home country but are not allowed to have pets in the complex where they will living when they arrive home, so they reached out to us to find Andy his new forever family.
Andy loves a pat, loves a cuddle, can be picked up and smooched and absolutely adores human company. If you're sitting at your desk working he will jump up and look adorable, if you're kicking back in bed he will jump up and have a cuddle and he can literally be carried around like a baby.
When he's in the mood for attention he will let out an adorable meow and start rubbing up against your legs. He's also a serious purring machine that loves to have his belly rubbed and who really enjoys a butt scratch.
Andy has the sort of nature and personality that would make him suitable to almost any household. He gets on well with other cats, is great with young kids and like most cats his age he loves to play.
He can be a little shy in a new environment at first, like most of us, but once he gets to know you he will be all purrs and cuddles.
Andy is a very people motivated cat and always wants to be part of whatever you are doing. Whether you're kicking back and relaxing or doing chores he will never be far away.
Andy is approximately 15 months old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
