About Louie - 9 Week Old Cattle x English Staffy
Meet Louie! The Ultimate Cuddle bug with a non-stop Wagging Tail and a Big Heart!
Say hello to Louie – a cheerful, cuddly pup with deep, soulful eyes and a tail that never stops wagging (seriously, not even in his sleep!). With the intelligence of a Blue Cattle Dog and the loving nature of a Staffy, Louie is the perfect mix.
💙 Friendly & Fun:
Louie adores making new friends – human and canine alike! He loves romping around the garden, playing tug-o-war, and spending time with his foster siblings, both two- and four-legged.
💡Smart & Eager to Learn:
This clever boy is using a doggy door, with toilet training underway. He’s already mastering basic commands like sit, come, and wait – especially when treats are involved. He’s enthusiastic about training and thrives on positive reinforcement.
💤 Nap King & Crate Champ:
When it’s time to recharge, Louie heads straight to his crate – his cozy, safe haven. He’s crate-trained and sleeps indoors where it’s warm and close to his people.
😁 Packed with Personality:
Louie is a bundle of joy and energy. Whether he’s chasing a ball, chewing on his favorite toy, or snuggling up for a cuddle, he brings a smile to everyone around him.
If you’re looking for a playful, cuddly and loyal companion, Louie might be the perfect match for you!
Louie will grow up to be a medium dog. You will need at least 5ft solid fencing, with no gaps (rural and mesh fencing will not be accepted). Due to his age, Louie will need someone home most of the time. He would love to live with people who welcome him inside, and he will need to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Louie will be a wonderful family dog for those with children above 6 years old, and will need a family committed to teaching him excellent manners (including not jumping). We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Louie’s siblings Paddy, Petal, Obi, Oreo and Dobbie will also available soon for adoption with Dog Rescue Newcastle.
Louie’s adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when he is 6 months old. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Louie is in foster care in Bolwarra Heights, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he is 5 to 6 months old.
However, after this period Louie will be available for both local and interstate adoptions.
