About Quicksilver
Hello, I’m Quicksilver, though my foster mum affectionately calls me her silver girl or sweetheart. I have a beautiful, soft coat that I take great pride in keeping well groomed.
I came into foster care when my kittens were just two weeks old, and with plenty of patience (and a lot of chicken treats!) I learned to trust my foster mum. I was a devoted mother and was fed Royal Canin kitten biscuits while raising my babies. Now that they’ve grown and no longer need me, I’ve transitioned to Leaps & Bounds biscuits with a raw food patty as a topper — which I absolutely love. I’m not shy about reminding you when it’s dinner time and will happily let you know if it’s running late.
I enjoy gentle pats and human company, and I’ve been exposed to dogs in my foster home. While we haven’t had close contact, I’ve calmly observed a Labrador and a German Shepherd from my enclosure and wasn’t overly concerned by them.
New environments can be a little daunting for me, so I’ll need a home that offers patience, understanding, and time to settle in. Once I feel safe, my sweet nature really shines through. Now that my mothering duties are behind me, I’m enjoying the quieter life — I don’t play a great deal yet, although I do make occasional visits to check on my kittens when they get a bit cheeky.
I would suit a calm home that’s happy to let me settle at my own pace and I would enjoy the companionship of a gentle, affectionate cat.-
