Bear is a special little guy with a big heart and a unique personality. Bear likely missed out on a lot of important early socialisation, which means he's still learning how to navigate the world - and doing better every day!

Once Bear forms a bond with you, he's incredibly loyal and affectionate, though he can also be a bit anxious and clingy. Because of this, he needs a very patient and understanding adopter who's willing to move at his pace to avoid overwhelming him, and let him slowly build confidence. Once he knows you he is all about cuddles!!

Bear may be a little wary of close handling at first, but with a gentle touch and positive experiences, he continues to show amazing progress. He thrives on small victories, so celebrating those wins is key to helping him blossom.

He may do well with a calm, confident canine companion who can give him space when needed. Also recommend respectful teens who are willing to be part of his training.
