To set Poe up for success, we're only considering applications that meet all of the following:

🏡 Single pet home - Poe needs to be the only animal in the house.
👩‍🦰 Adults-only - a calm, predictable environment suits him best, with no children visiting.
🌿 Home with a backyard - he's not ready for daily walks just yet, and enjoys having space to run and play safely at home.
🧠 Experienced owners - people who can read canine body language and are committed to ongoing, positive reinforcement-based training.
✂️ Commitment to desensitisation - Poe needs gentle, ongoing work to feel comfortable with grooming and vet visits, using fear-free professionals.

Poe can find walks and handling overwhelming at times, so his new family should be patient, understanding, and ready to work at his pace with the support of a trainer.

Poe is an adorable, playful boy with a big personality. He's full of energy and loves zooming around the yard, showing off his toys, and learning new things through training. Poe's a clever guy who thrives when his brain is kept busy - puzzle toys, trick training, and fun enrichment activities are right up his alley!
