Meet Alto – A Vocal Beauty with a Gentle Heart

Alto is a striking tabby girl with a big personality and an even bigger voice. Fiercely independent and a little bit sassy, she likes to act like she’s got the world all figured out—but under that tough exterior is a sweet, sensitive soul who finds change a little scary.

Recently returned from adoption through no fault of her own, Alto simply needs a home that understands her timid nature. She’s not a fan of fast-paced environments and would much prefer a quiet, calm space to call her own—somewhere she can decompress, adjust in her own time, and truly feel safe.

Alto would thrive as the only cat in the home, or possibly with another low-maintenance feline who’s happy to share space without getting in her face. She values her personal boundaries and appreciates gentle companionship over high-energy playmates.

One of Alto’s most endearing qualities is her voice—she absolutely earnt her name! She’ll chirrup and softly mew in response to her name, and isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s dinnertime.
In fact, she’s more dog than cat in that way—yes, she really does come when you call her and she is LOYAL to her humans.
Alto ALSO actually loves dogs and will smooch all over them - so if you have a dog that loves cats, Alto is their new BFF!
