About Goose
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Goose sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Goose is the cheeky, curious extrovert of the household—a whirlwind of personality, energy, and affection. She’s the kind of cat who needs to know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and whether she can be involved. If you’re not paying attention to her, she’ll gently insert herself into the action, always eager to be part of the fun. And in her snuggly moods? She’s pure gold—nestled into your side, purring like a tiny engine.
Goose is friendly with everyone she meets, confidently strutting over to say hello before deciding if the interaction meets her high standards. If not, she’ll simply remove herself—no drama, just classic Goose. She's grown up around children, other cats, birds, and a dog, though she’d really prefer to be the centre of attention in a home where she doesn’t have to compete for food or affection.
This playful, highly intelligent girl would thrive in an active household with older children and lots of enrichment. She’d enjoy a home with safe outdoor access so she can stretch her legs and chase bugs, or might even make an excellent barn cat. She’s also incredibly resourceful when it comes to tracking down snacks—keep an eye on your sandwich if you step away!
If you’re ready for a cat with a big personality, a sense of humour, and a flair for the dramatic, Goose might just be your ideal sidekick. She’s bold, affectionate, and absolutely unforgettable.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
