About River
Meet Our Beautiful Weimaraner Boy, River.
Gender: Male
Location: Near Warwick, QLD
This gorgeous young Weimaraner is the full package – loving, smart, and full of heart! He's well-mannered, listens when asked (like getting off the bed), and toilets outside reliably when given unrestricted access.
He’s polite around food, happy to share space with other dogs, and enjoys meeting new people. He has not had any issues with dogs or cats whilst in care.
He’s picking up food-based training quickly and even knows a rough version of "shake hands"!
While he rarely barks, he has spoken up at some neighbouring cows and the postlady (when encouraged to do so by his doggy friends)
River is playful but balanced – loving a zoom around before settling in for a comfy nap on the couch.
He thrives being involved in day-to-day life and would do best in a home where he can move freely between inside and outside and where his humans possibly work from home or alike.
Structure and routine will help River settle.
Health Notes:
He has a diagnosed heart murmur. Vets have recommended monitoring only at this stage – the recommendation is that no medication is currently needed.
Vet Work:
He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with worming and flea treatments.
This boy is a wonderful companion, ready to bring endless love, loyalty, and laughter into his new family's lives.
Adoption fee Negotiable.
Medical notes
Heart Murmur.
Spme separation anxieties.
Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption fee) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
