About Lightning
Please note: Lightning requires a calm and peaceful household that will allow her to gain confidence at her own pace - a home with kind, caring, patient and understanding humans (mature aged children only) and another dog with a sweet and playful nature.
Meet Lightning, an endearing and gentle companion with a beautiful nature who is looking for a loving home. Despite her name, this sweet girl isn't a whirlwind but a serene presence who takes time to trust and open up. Once she's warmed up to you, she'll be a loyal friend who treasures your company and adores being close to her humans.
Lightning would thrive most in a peaceful home environment. She connects well with older children and is unfazed by the presence of cats. A confident dog sibling is helpful to show her the ropes and teach her how to be a dog, as she's the kind of companion who loves to observe and learn from her peers. While Lightning is not the type to bark unnecessarily, she does express her curiosity through affectionate gazes and gentle tail wags. Her exploratory nature craves lots of walks and adventures, once she's built up her confidence.
To ensure Lightning's happiness, an appropriately sized secure yard with a fixed outdoor undercover area is necessary. A cozy, warm bed to snuggle into after a day of activity is a must.
If you're willing to provide continued socialisation and training, Lightning will blossom under your care. She's not only seeking a home, but a genuine bond where love and companionship are paramount. If you're ready for a loyal, easy-going friend who loves with all her heart, Lightning is waiting eagerly to be a part of your life.
