About Bella
Assisted Rehoming
Meet Bella. She was rescued from unsuitable living conditions at about 6 months old by her current foster family. They have cared for her for 5 months and she has grown to be a beautiful, gentle girl. 💜
She is not a huge dog for her breed at 23kg.👌
She needs space, activity and stimulation.🪀
She is great on her lead and harness and she is currently walked 3-4 times a day.🦮
She enjoys relaxing indoors and spending time in a fenced area where she loves to play fetch with her toys. 🦴
She is better suited to a fenced acreage property and is not suitable for an urban area. Whilst she walks very well on a lead, we know that she would prefer to get her exercise in a wide open space as we have seen how she comes alive on a friend’s 200 acre property.🏡
She loves to meet and play with other friendly dogs and has never shown any signs of aggression. She therefore would love the company of another friendly energetic dog. 🐶
She is very shy with new people but responds well to kindness, affection and patience. 🥺
She must sleep indoors for her safety and so that she doesn’t spend the night barking her head off! 👍
Current location is Mt Nebo, but she is available for adoption within the SEQ or Northern NSW area.
ASSISTED REHOMING
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal. AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation from the successful applicant (of their choosing) to AINB in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
