About Chloe
A couch potato she is not, Chloe lives for her three walks a day, and she isn't shy about letting you know if she hasn't had enough attention or exercise. This bouncy bean is looking for an active home! Not bothered by noises or new places, adventure is definitely her middle name.
Although currently living as an only dog, we think this beautiful blonde would thrive with a medium to large canine sibling in her forever home - preferably one with equal energy who enjoys playtime. Chloe has stayed overnight with other dogs and has proven that she is a sweet and polite girl, she is even social with small dogs! Though due to her exuberance, we recommend that she be closely supervised if having regular contact with both small animals and small humans. She is not suited to a home with young children or frail/elderly people as sometimes she can take the zoomies to a whole new level.
Chloe has 100% enthusiasm for play, however she is still learning what is (and is not) a toy, so it is best to keep precious items out of her reach - and she will need her home to keep positively trading found items so that she does not start to become anxious or guardy about them. It's all very fun and exciting right now, and we want to ensure she remains in good spirits about handing over the "definitely not a toy" remote/socks/bra.
Not a big fan of alone time, Chloe can manage a few hours by herself before things get far too boring - she would much prefer company in her forever home so that she doesn't have to scout around for her own fun (see the aforementioned remote/socks/bra). Another dog would likely help her to settle, so long as they don't mind her seeking affection through the day - she is a big time attention seeker!
Chloe is a little ray of sunshine, and will bring her forever home lots of joy and laughter for many years to come. No cats or small dogs
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option
