Remember Freddie? 💙

We recently saved this sweet young boy from the pound. He’s been with one of our wonderful emergency foster carers, and now that we’ve gotten to know him, it’s time to find his perfect forever home.

At just 15 months old, Freddie is still very much a bouncy, curious Boxer pup with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. 💖🐶

This beautiful boy is smart, affectionate, and eager to please – and he also happens to be deaf. But don’t let that fool you – it doesn’t slow him down one bit!

Freddie is already:
✔️ Toilet trained
✔️ Responding to hand signals like sit, down, stay
✔️ Waiting patiently for his food
✔️ Learning “no” (via signs) and picking up new cues quickly

Freddie is incredibly people-focused – he wants to be wherever you are. He would love a home where someone is around most of the time, and a desexed female dog with similar energy is a must. He thrives with a doggy friend who can play with him, guide him, and help him feel secure. 🐾

He needs a large, secure backyard where he can run, explore, and burn off his zoomies!

Freddie thrives with routine:
🌅 Morning walk + play
🌇 Evening stroll after dinner
🎾 Zoomies + fetch (bonus points if it’s a carrot!)
☀️ Sunbaking on the deck

He walks well on lead in calm areas, but new sights and smells are still very exciting. Around other dogs or people, he often does his signature “drop and launch” – a classic Boxer mix of curiosity and joy.

Like any young Boxer, he’s still learning:
⚠️ No jumping up when greeting people
⚠️ No nipping when excited

He may cheekily “borrow” a sock or help with gardening or laundry, but it’s all part of his playful charm.

Freddie is a gorgeous, loyal companion who will thrive in a home with patience, structure, and a whole lot of love. 💕 If you’ve got the space, the time, and a lovely lady dog to share it with – Freddie might just be your perfect match!
