Hi there! My name is Dozer, and I'm a 5 year old St. Bernard, with a big heart to match my size!

Despite having three legs, I’m just as lively and loving as any other St. Bernard. I’m a proud member of the XL breed family, which means I need a home where my humans have experience with giant breed dogs and can manage my size and needs. St. Bernards like me are known for being gentle giants, and we’re laid-back, loyal, and affectionate. We love attention but aren’t overly demanding, and we enjoy being part of the family. I do need a bit of extra care because of my three legs, so a home that’s understanding of my physical needs is a must.

I’d do best with children who are comfortable with my large frame and gentle nature. It’s best if they’re older/dog-savvy and know how to interact with me respectfully. I’ll need to meet all children, just to make sure everyone gets along. I also enjoy the company of other dogs, especially calm and social ones. I wouldn’t mind having a friendly dog buddy around who can share space with me without any fuss. I’m all about peaceful coexistence and enjoy hanging out with other dogs as long as they’re laid-back and easygoing like me.

I need to have both indoor and outdoor access, and apartment living with lots of stairs is not for me, a ground floor apartment might be okay. I need a bit more room to stretch out, and with my three legs, I’d do best in a space where I can comfortably move around.

Being a St. Bernard, I do have mental and physical enrichment needs. I enjoy a good walk or leisurely stroll, but nothing too strenuous on my three legs. I like having a bit of routine and enjoy puzzle games, food toys, or just hanging out with you. I’m pretty easygoing but still need regular stimulation to keep my mind sharp and happy.
