About Star
🐾 Meet Star – A Stunning Beauty Ready to Shine 🐾
📍 Foster home suburb: Surry Hills, Sydney
Name: Star
Microchip No.: 991003003041276
Date of Birth: Estimated 17/10/2020
Gender: Female
Breed: Ragdoll Cross
Colour: White and Brown
Star is a gorgeous ragdoll cross who has already overcome so much. Found abandoned among rubbish after being used for breeding, Star was rescued just in time and has been slowly learning to trust again. With her kittens now grown and adopted, it’s finally Star’s turn to find the love and security she truly deserves.
Star is confident around people, but she likes affection on her own terms. She’s an independent soul who enjoys lounging nearby, observing her world with calm curiosity. While she’s not a typical lap cat, she shows affection in her own special way once she feels safe.
She would thrive best in a quiet home with a single person or couple who will respect her boundaries and let her blossom at her own pace. Star is not a fan of female cats but may get along with a calm, non-dominant male cat with slow, careful introductions.
Additional information:
✅ Independent and confident
✅ Best suited to a quiet, calm home
✅ May suit a home with a relaxed male cat (with careful introductions)
✅ Vaccinated, microchipped & desexed

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
