About Charlie
🍀🐶🍀NSW/ACT: BEAUTIFUL OL' BOY CHARLIE IS IN SEARCH OF HIS FOREVER HOME, COULD IT BE YOURS?🍀🐶🍀
They say seniors are the best! And we think our special 14 year old Charlie is just that!
Charlie loves a good rub under his ears and enjoys nothing more than snuggling beside you on the couch or at your feet while you work.
Charlie sleeps in his own bed next to his fur siblings and has no problem with them jumping in and joining him for a sleepover.🐶
Since his recent injection to treat arthritis, he has a spring in his step and loves his longer walks. Charlie is young at heart and still loves a wrestle with his teddy bear and soft toys.
Despite being deaf, Charlie is easy to manage and like a typical pug will keep you in his sight at all times and can follow hand signals ✋, and takes his daily eye medication without fuss.
Charlie enjoys the companionship of other dogs but would also thrive with the attention and devotion that being the only dog can bring. Charlie loves to be around people and would love a family who was home more often than not and would include him in daily outings. 🚶
Charlie is looking for a family that can give him the love and security of a forever home where he can be showered with love and attention as he enjoys his twilight years.
For a 14 year old, Charlie is doing relatively well health wise. As with most seniors (including ourselves!) he does require ongoing quarterly Synovan injections together with a daily supplement (Glyde chew) to help with is aging joints. 🦴 He will also require eye ointment for dry eye.
Like with all our rescues, we know there is a family out there that would be prepared to provide a loving home, where Charlie is able to live out his remaining time full of love and warmth.❤️

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescues, there are few things that need to take place that form part of the adoption process:
1. You will need to fill in an adoption form, which is located via our website https://www.pugpatrolrescueaustralia.com.au/pug-adoption-application/
2. If there is a rescue that is suited to you, you will receive a call from one of our foster carers and a phone interview will occur;
3. If mutually agreed, a meet and greet will be organised;
4. A home check will be undertaken
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
