About Tommy
Tommy is a resilient and deserving pup who has already experienced quite the adventure in his young life. Found in the bush with his five siblings, his journey into the arms of a kind rescuer was the first step towards finding a loving family where he can truly thrive. Now, Tommy waits patiently, with his carer eager to find his perfect match.
Initially, Tommy might appear a bit shy when meeting new friends. However, with gentle encouragement, trust, and understanding, he slowly reveals his playful personality and yearns to connect with those around him. Once he feels secure in his environment, Tommy's affectionate side begins to shine, warming the hearts of everyone he meets.
Tommy is looking for a patient and nurturing family who will give him the time and space he needs to bloom in his own delightful way. In a home where he can settle on his terms, surrounded by love and care, Tommy will become a loyal and cherished companion.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
