About Peta
Peta is a 3 year old female border collie. She is a gentle and sweet-natured dog who may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll be your loyal companion for life. She’s a little shy at first, which makes her a perfect fit for someone who understands the beauty of patience. Once she’s comfortable, her loving personality truly shines.
Peta is a polite lady - whether it’s meeting new dogs or enjoying mealtime, she knows how to share space and show kindness. No food aggression here; Peta enjoys her meals calmly, appreciating the simple joys of life.
Peta has a friendly demeanor with other dogs. She’s not overly dominant or aggressive, and she knows how to get along in a pack without any fuss. She’s polite and respectful of others’ space and would do well in a home with other pets, especially if they are gentle and understanding like her.
Sweet, kind, and with a heart full of love, Peta’s nature is pure and gentle. Once she feels safe and secure, she’ll be the most loyal and affectionate companion. She loves attention but isn’t overly demanding. A gentle touch or soft words are all it takes to make her feel special.
Peta is crate and house trained and is working on other elements of her training. She will need a family who can continue giving her guidance with this.
Peta would thrive in a peaceful and patient home, perhaps with a family or an individual who can respect her calm pace and give her the time she needs to feel at ease. She has come from a rural home so would appreciate room to run and stretch her legs. Peta is open to companionship with other pets and older children who know how to approach her gently.
If you’re looking for a loving dog who just needs a little time to trust, Peta is ready to show you how much love she has to give. She’s more than worth the wait!
Peta is located in QLD.
