About Sol
Meet Sol, an exuberant and cheerful canine companion with a heart full of love and energy! Sol is a fantastic family pet who effortlessly blends into homes with children and other dogs, making him a joy to have around. He's friendly and adaptable, comfortably navigating both the indoors and outdoors with ease.
Sol is happiest when he's free to move and explore the great outdoors, burning off his high energy. Whether it's playing with his foster sister or a spirited game of tug-of-war with humans, he's always up for some fun, even though fetching a ball isn't really his thing. Despite his energetic nature, Sol's also a champion cuddler who loves to relax by your feet or snuggle up after a long day.
He observes household rules easily, knowing commands such as sit, wait, and shake paw. He's house-trained and will gently alert you when he needs to go outside. Not one to shy away from big noises, Sol is unfazed by power tools or bustling environments. His inquisitive nature and quick learning make him a delight to train, although he appreciates a gentle, strong leader to guide him as he masters polite walking skills and curbs his enthusiasm for jumping up in excitement.
While Sol is fine with penned chickens, he might find free-range chickens a bit too tempting; therefore, environments with fenced areas for feathered friends are best. Untested with cats, careful introductions would be advisable to assess compatibility.
Lovingly referred to as "sweet Sol" or "Sol sister," he's a bundle of joy, endlessly curious, and ready to share his loyalty and love with a new family who appreciates his zest for life.
