About Sebastian
Introducing Sebastian, affectionately known as Bas, a loving and loyal companion who is ready to find his new family, surrendered at no fault of his own- A unique mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Staffy, this handsome 1.5-year-old boy may be a bit reserved initially, but once you win his trust, he becomes an incredibly devoted friend. Bas has been searching for the perfect home—a place where he can truly settle in and form a deep bond.
Sebastian's perfect day involves a leisurely walk, during which he showcases his excellent leash manners and adherence to basic commands such as sit, paw, down, and wait. After his walk, he's happiest when he's hopping into the car for an adventurous ride by your side. He gets a wonderful sense of comfort and joy out of car rides.
With his big heart and affectionate nature, Sebastian thrives best in a home without another male dog, where he can have all the attention he craves. While he hasn't been tested with cats yet, his social skills with humans make him a delightful addition to households ready to offer the love and stability he so richly deserves.
If you are patient, understanding, and have room in your heart and home for a loyal buddy, then Sebastian might just be the perfect fit. With a bit of patience and lots of love, you'll see that Bas loves hard and will be a source of comfort and joy in your life.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid. *
