About Nikko
Hi I am Nikko. I am one of Maggie's Son's born in care on a VERY HOT night on 13 January 2025.
Two of my littermates were DNA Tested and both came back with us being mostly Kelpie with a small percentage of Border Collie in our linage.
I am a super smart boy that is always up for adventures. I am an active boy that loves to run, although I am still a bit un-coordinated as a pup. I feel like I am running like the wind but then tumble as my legs become a bit wonky with the speed.
I absolutely love water and will play under the sprinkler or splash in the dam for ages.
I am on rural property and hanging out with other dogs of different ages and sizes. I am exposed to cats, chickens, horses and other livestock. I am still learning around these so have not been graduated to a helper yet!
I have been in a foster to adopt arrangement with the view to be a working boy.....but I am not that interested in the sheep.
I am looking for an active home that is prepared to put in the training and keep my mind and body active as I grow up and mature.
I will go to my home desexed, had two vaccinations (I will need a booster) microchipped and flea and worm treated. I have been wormed regularly since being born. My adoption fee is $800.
If your interested in giving me (Nikko) a home please call Carolyn on 0427 221 231 or Tina on 0438 535 623.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
