CALLING ALL ADVENTURES

AHOY to you all, the names Toby

I know looking at me the first words you think of are Majestic, Elite, Ruggedly Handsome and a Bundle of Fun, and while of course I am all those things. I like to think myself an explorer, an adventurer, an experience gatherer.

I know I’m only 10 months old and haven’t gotten to explore the world around me just yet, but I have big plans and am looking for a family to understand me and help me achieve these plans.

I’m a Border Collie so I not only have energy to burn but I’ll need metal stimulation, I won’t just be happy just sitting at home all the time.
I want to walk or run in the outdoors while feeling the wind in my fur, I want to meet new people, heck I’d climb a mountain with you if you were up for it so we could sit at the top as stare out at the view. I’ll come fishing and let you know when you’ve snagged a good one. Take me camping and I’ll help you find the best spot to set up and make a campfire (preferably near something smelly I can roll in), take me to the beach and I show you how much fun sand can be you make the castle, and I’ll dig the moat. We’ll be a team in everything we do.

I’m a working breed which means I’m highly intelligent, eager to learn and show you how good I can be, take me to obedience classes and we’ll be top of the class, agility… I’ll ace it with your help; all I’m saying is together we’ll be the A team.

As a working breed I do come with the working breed traits which includes intelligence, high energy and strong herding instincts so I recommend a google search if you haven’t owned a breed like me before. I have a love for other dogs but being young and a working breed I can come on a bit strong. I haven’t been around small animal or cats so that’s something to keep in mind. I am a petite guy and am currently around the 15kg mark.

As a part of my adoption, I am up to date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea and worm treated, and vet checked.

If you have another dog a meet and greet is needed to make sure we are the right fit to concur the world together.
