About Odie
Introducing Odie, a one-of-a-kind little Pomeranian cross who has personality plus. He is a playful little chap who loves people and other dogs. This little man was a reluctant surrender and it is obvious that he was well loved and cared for; he will sit, drop and turn on command and training is a breeze as he is very intelligent and loves food and treats.
Odie is a small dog but is not tiny; he weighs approximately 5 kilograms. He has a silky tan coat with splashes of white and long strands of silky black hair on the tips of his tail and his ears. He does require some grooming and his winter coat will be longer than it is in the photos. Mr Odie has a cute little fluffy tail which is constantly wagging - he is a very happy little dog. When invited, he will jump on your lap for cuddles and belly rubs.
As he is 5+ years old, Odie has outgrown the puppy stage and is fully toilet trained. He has bouts of energy and loves playing with other dogs; he is currently fostered with four other dogs (male and female) and engages positively with the females (So a female dog home only). As such, he will do well with another dog for company and to use up some of his youthful energy by zooming around the yard. This boy has a real zest for life and loves going on adventures - particularly if they involve walks. Odie barks when a stranger approaches the house but stops when told, especially when he becomes familiar with a new environment.
Although he loves going on walks and exploring the garden, Odie is predominantly an inside dog. He is not one to be left alone in the back yard for long periods and would suit someone who is home more often than not; he stays close to his people and absolutely loves being with them and other dogs.
