Say hello to Mickey, the softest, sweetest little cuddle bug you’ll ever meet, wrapped in a pitch-black coat and full of love!

This 14-week-old Cattle x Staffy mix may look like a cool little shadow, but don’t be fooled he’s a total marshmallow at heart. Gentle, affectionate, and happiest when curled up in your arms, Mickey is all about the snuggles and being with his person.

• Eager to learn: He's already starting to pick up basic obedience (like sit and come) and is eager to keep learning.
• Crate trained & sleeping indoors: He’s already comfortable sleeping inside in his crate, or on a bed close by to his human which will help with future housetraining.
• Playful personality: Mickey’s favourite thing is chewing on toys, and she loves playing in the shell pool!
• Gentle nature: He doesn’t bark much and has been okay with chickens – curious, but not aggressive.

Mickey will thrive in a home that can offer him structure, socialisation, and lots of love. He’d suit a family with the time to guide him through puppyhood, or someone looking for a loyal companion. A secure yard and maybe even a fur sibling would be a bonus! Mickey hasn’t been left alone for long hours, so he’s best placed with someone who can provide him with the care and patience to gradually build his independence.

Mickey's adoption fee is $800 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

He is in foster care in Clarence Town, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he is 5 to 6 months old.
