🐕Meet Cricket!🐕
Cricket was found as a stray, no chip or collar so his history is unknown. It is estimated that he is around two years old based on his teeth and interactions with other dogs. Cricket is a no fuss easy going doggo although he does have a funny staring technique. He is happy and content to hang out and just be your best buddy and when you take him out for a play with some mates is when he gets to act like a puppy again.

Cricket is reliable, dependable, a great listener, excellent at cafe culture, super chill and easily as happy joining a netflix binge session or a romp at a dog park or the beach, he is everybody's best friend. Cricket can be a bit of a jealous little chap so best if he is a single dog and gets loads of doggie visitors or gets taken out to play with other dogs often.

His favourite things to do is be anywhere you are, he will just follow you around the house and garden helping out or listening as you tell him about your day. This boy is more than a dog, he is a companion, best mate, alert dog, guardian - heck if he was a human he would be a girls ideal catch.

Cricket is hoping to find a family in East Gippsland where he is currently in foster care but will travel to meet up applicants outside of the area.

TRAINING:
Banjo is a Cattle Dog so he is not only smart, he can think ahead and work things out. He has been house trained and will use a doggie door or alert you when he needs to go out.

He has got the art of paw shaking down pat for meeting all your friends or making new cafe friends. All of the basic sit, drop, stay, come etc are second nature to him. Cattle dogs are curious and can do a little wander on an off lead walk, but they will always check to see where their human is and will return to you. Once you have bonded and he knows that you are all his, you will be able to enjoy the great outdoors without any restrictions or fear of him getting lost.

On lead he is eager to go for a walk and quickly settles into the pace of his walking buddy. He does not react to other dogs when walking the burbs other than to wag his tail for a friendly hello.

PERFECT HOME:
Cricket will get along with anyone and everyone but like most cattle dogs, if there is more than one family member, he will chose which one is his person and favour that one over others - that's just the way cattle dogs are. Cricket is very patient and gentle with little ones, making him an ideal companion for families seeking a furry friend for their kids or grandies to grow up alongside.

Cricket can be as active as you want him to be, or equally as chilled as long as he gets some daily exercise. His foster mum says he would be a perfect companion for anyone who enjoys a walk and a chat and would like to share their life with a fury companion. He would be best suited to a moderately active individual or couple, perhaps caravan or camping people as he does love the great outdoors or maybe some gardeners or bushwalkers who could benefit from Cricket as their buddy.

A secure fenced yard where he can be safe to run and play would be ideal, and he is also open to going on adventures with his humans to explore new places and burn off some energy.
