About Honey
Meet Honey: A Survivor Ready for a Sweet Life.
You all know the story of Honey and her siblings. Found abandoned and suffering from terrible burns at just 10 weeks old, their start to life was heartbreaking.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of local rangers and a dedicated carer, these little fighters pulled through. We were so happy to bring them to our rescue here in Brisbane.
Now around four months old, Honey has blossomed into an absolutely beautiful and outgoing little girl. She's currently thriving in foster care with a young child, two other dogs and some chickens, proving to be a social butterfly who gets along with everyone.
Honey is everything a puppy should be – playful, curious, and full of love. She missed out on some of that precious puppyhood due to her early trauma, but she's making up for lost time with enthusiasm!
We think she's a Cattle Dog cross, possibly with some Ridgeback in the mix, but honestly, her breed is anyone's guess.
While the scars from her burns remain, mostly down her back, they are partially covered with fur.
These scars tell a story of resilience, but we're determined to help her create a future where those memories fade and are replaced with endless happy ones.
We're looking for a human with a heart big enough to welcome this special girl into their life and give her the future she deserves.
Honey is located in foster care at Caboolture.
If you think you could be the perfect match for this sweet girl, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself, your family, and the wonderful life you could offer her.
Honey is vaccinated to date, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms. Her adoption fee is $625, which includes her desexing at one of our partner vets when she's around six months old
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
