About Honey
Meet Honey: A Survivor Ready for a Sweet Life.
Last year we rescued a litter of pups who arrived bearing confronting burns along their backs… (see pics of when she arrived) 💔
Every single one found their home — but sadly, Honey has found her way back to the village, searching for her happily ever after once more.
Through absolutely no fault of her own, this sweet girl has now faced being abandoned twice in her young life. And yet… she still loves, she still trusts, and she still hopes.
She has taken the time she needed to learn what it means to just be a dog. With patience and guidance, the chaos has settled and in its place is a happy, relaxed, and affectionate girl. She’ll let you know if something’s out there (even if it’s just a cheeky possum 🐾), but otherwise she’s content, safe, and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place.
She’s a clever little soul — the kind that will keep you on your toes and make you laugh. She loves to play ball, chase sticks, or anything she can turn into a game. Her intelligence means she thrives with calm, consistent boundaries and someone willing to stay one step ahead of her.
Honey absolutely adores kids and would love a family to call her own. Because she’s still learning her manners (and can get a bit jumpy and cheeky when excited), we think a home with older children would suit her best.
She is incredibly social with other dogs — submissive, playful, and always keen to make friends. Give her daily walks, some playtime, and a routine, and she’ll happily snooze the day away while you’re out.
What she really needs is someone committed. Someone who will give her time, guidance, and love — not just for now, but for life. She would thrive with space to explore, and we suspect there’s a working dog brain in there just waiting for a job to do.
She is loyal, loving, and happiest right by your side… or at your feet, just quietly being your shadow.
Honey isn’t asking for much — just a forever this time. A real one. The kind she never has to lose again.
She is only medium size at around 22kg
