We received a heartbreaking call about a sweet cat who was missing part of her leg and was about to be euthanised. The vet staff told us how gentle and loving she was, despite everything she’d been through—and we knew we couldn’t let her story end there. That cat is Hope, and her name couldn’t be more fitting.
Hope has overcome so much, but her spirit remains unbreakable. She may be missing a leg, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She gets around beautifully, with the confidence of a cat who knows she’s special.
She’s all about cozy cuddles, gentle purrs, and being your soft, snuggly shadow. Hope has a heart full of love and a belly always ready for her next snack. Her resilience, sweet nature, and quiet strength will melt your heart.
Hope is looking for a forever home where she can be cherished for the extraordinary soul she is.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
