About Frank
Not much fazes Frank, from the moment he arrived in foster care he has taken to his new cosmopolitan lifestyle in an inner city apartment with ease. A ride on the train? Yes please. Toileting on the balcony? No problem. Elevators, stairs, busy streets, noisy trams, new places? Bring them on! So long as he has his human by his side (very literally, Frank likes to walk right at your knee), every day is a fun adventure for this social and sweet boy.
As a young chap, this bouncy bean is still full of energy and does get the zoomies every day. He really enjoys physical play and a wrestle in the morning is one of his most favourite activities - so he will need an active home with a hands on human who enjoys play. Frank loves to check out new walking routes, and could easily live the weekend warrior lifestyle getting out for hikes in the You Yangs or accompanying you to Park Run! When his energy needs are met though, he is happy to snooze the rest of the day away.
Frank enjoys the company of both humans and hounds (although maybe humans a bit more, since they give ear scritches and belly rubs), he could easily be both your one and only, or a member of a dual dog family. Currently he has a WFH human, but has been left up to five hours alone without issues - he will need safe access to toilet though as he doesn't like to hold a full bladder and appreciates a toilet patch.
We all have our vices, and Frank is partial to helping himself to an unattended snack - although thankfully his diminutive size means well placed items are out of reach, we recommend keeping those counters clear to help encourage good behaviours.
This happy chap is quite a catch with good looks to boot, and will easily fit into many households; it will be a very lucky forever family who get to welcome him into their life. .

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option
