About George
Meet George
George is a sweet, playful tuxedo kitten who loves spending time with his hooman and animal family. He came into DCH care with his mama (Penelope), brothers (Tom and Wyatt), and sister (Abbie) from the shelter at 4 weeks old. He has thrived under DCH care, gaining weight and getting stronger. George is affectionate and is always up for tummy tickles!
George loves to eat wet and dry kitten food. He loves bouncing into all areas of teh house, especially if you are there. He will also climb all over you if you let him. He loves climbing cat trees and wrestling with his siblings. He also loves to fall into a deep sleep beside you. He is playful and quiet. George is litter-trained on sand, pellets and crystals. He loves playing with cat toys (balls, feathers). He respects furniture, clothes and shoes. He is friendly with other cats and puppies.
George will be ready to join his forever family from 9 May 2025 after his desexing procedure. If you are looking for an affectionate and hilarious kitten who is always up for playing (when he isn't sleeping hard), then you should meet George.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
