About Tom
Meet Tom
Tom is a cute and cheeky tuxedo kitten, with a love of pranking his siblings. He came into DCH care with his mama (Penelope), brothers (Wyatt and George), and sister (Abbie) from the shelter at 4 weeks old. He has thrived under DCH care, gaining weight and getting stronger. His face is all cuteness but he is very cheeky!
Tom loves to eat wet and dry kitten food. He can be independent, often exploring on his own and sleeping in cat nests or cat caves on his own. But he can also be affectionate, seeking you out if he wants a cuddle. He loves pranking his siblings by pouncing onm them and nipping their tail as they sleep (so they wake up with a start). He loves climbing cat trees and wrestling with his siblings. He also loves to fall into a deep sleep beside you. He is playful and quiet. Tom is litter-trained on sand, pellets and crystals. He loves playing with cat toys (balls, feathers). He respects furniture, clothes and shoes. He is friendly with other cats and puppies.
Tom will be ready to join his forever family from 9 May 2025 after his desexing procedure. If you are looking for a cheeky but lovable kitten who just wants to have fun with you, then you should meet Tom

To find out more information about this animal, or to organise a time to see them, please contact our foster carer listed who will take you through the adoption process.
Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
